KAYTRANADA in Rio de Janeiro

KAYTRANADA is a Haitian-Canadian producer and DJ, born Louis Kevin Celestin in Port-au-Prince in 1992. His dance music draws on house rhythms, hip-hop beatmaking and R&B vocals. He is known for the albums 99.9%, Bubba and Timeless, as well as tracks including “Lite Spots,” “Glowed Up” with Anderson .Paak and “10%” with Kali Uchis. His 2013 Boiler Room Montreal set became a widely circulated document of his early DJ style. In 2022, he joined the North American leg of The Weeknd’s After Hours til Dawn Tour as an opening act. The following year brought a performance at Coachella and a run of KAYTRAMINÉ shows with Aminé. He has also performed at Glastonbury Festival in England and Primavera Sound in Barcelona.
