Kenyon Dixon in Chicago

Kenyon Dixon is an American R&B singer, songwriter and producer from Los Angeles. His albums R&B Kenny, Closer and The R&B You Love draw on classic soul songwriting and contemporary R&B, while songs including “Lucky,” “Slow Dancing” and “Can I Have This Groove” have become central to his catalog. On The R&B You Love Tour, Kenyon Dixon carried that material into a headlining concert run backed by a live band. His NPR Tiny Desk Concert also presented his songs in a compact full-band arrangement, providing a separate record of his work as a live vocalist at Tiny Desk.
