Keri Hilson is an American R&B and pop singer-songwriter born in Decatur, Georgia, in 1982. Her vocal on Timbaland’s “The Way I Are” preceded her 2009 debut album, In a Perfect World..., which produced “Knock You Down” and “Turnin Me On.” She followed it with No Boys Allowed, featuring “Pretty Girl Rock.” In 2009, she joined Lil Wayne’s I Am Music Tour, performing material from her debut album in arenas across North America. She returned in 2011 as a supporting act on Lil Wayne’s I Am Still Music Tour and later performed on the North American leg of Chris Brown’s F.A.M.E. Tour.
