Kid Yugi in Licinella-Torre di Paestum

Kid Yugi is an Italian rapper from Massafra, Apulia, whose dark trap production and writing draw heavily on literature, cinema and religious imagery. He established his style on the album The Globe and expanded it on I nomi del diavolo; tracks including “Massafghanistan” and “Il ferro di Čechov” are central to his catalogue. The 2024 I nomi del diavolo tour took Kid Yugi through Italian clubs after the album’s release. That year he also performed at Red Bull 64 Bars Live in Naples, a major showcase for Italian rap.
