Kim Jong Kook in Seoul

Kim Jong Kook is a South Korean singer born in 1976, known first as a member of the dance-pop duo Turbo and later for a solo catalog centered on pop ballads. He debuted with Turbo in 1995 and established his solo career through songs including “One Man,” “Walking in One Spot” and “Lovable,” as well as the albums Evolution and This Is Me. He is also widely known as a longtime cast member of Running Man. The 2019 concert series Finding Kim Jong Kook marked his return to a full solo concert after a nine-year gap. Its Seoul performances took place at Ewha Womans University’s Samsung Hall, where the set drew on his solo catalog and songs associated with Turbo.
