Artist
Kingfishr are an Irish folk-rock trio formed in Limerick by Eddie Keogh, Eoghan McGrath and Eoin Fitzgibbon, who met while studying engineering at the University of Limerick. Their songs pair acoustic instrumentation with broad rock arrangements; “Killeagh,” “Flowers-Fire” and “Heart in the Water” are among their best-known releases. In 2024, Kingfishr performed at Glastonbury Festival and opened for Bruce Springsteen at Nowlan Park in Kilkenny. They later took their live set into arenas as support on Snow Patrol’s UK and Ireland tour.
