Koji Kikkawa in Fukuoka

Koji Kikkawa is a Japanese rock and pop singer-songwriter and actor, born in Hiroshima in 1965. He made his recording debut with “Monica” and became known for songs including “La Vie en Rose” and “You Gotta Chance.” He also formed the duo COMPLEX with guitarist Tomoyasu Hotei; their best-known recordings include “Be My Baby.” In 1990, Kikkawa and Hotei closed COMPLEX’s original run with a concert at Tokyo Dome. They reunited at the same venue in 2011 for the two-night Nihon Isshin benefit, whose proceeds supported recovery after the Great East Japan Earthquake.
