Kuroyume in Kotō

Kuroyume is a Japanese rock band formed in Nagoya in 1991, centered on vocalist Kiyoharu and bassist Hitoki. The group emerged from the visual kei scene with dark post-punk and gothic rock, then moved toward punk, hard rock and alternative rock. Albums such as Feminism and Fake Star, together with songs including “Miss Moonlight,” “Like @ Angel” and “Shonen,” established its best-known catalogue. In 1998, Kuroyume toured behind Corkscrew; LIVE OR DIE documented that run. A decade after suspending activity in 1999, the band staged the farewell concert kuroyume “the end” CORKSCREW A GO GO! FINAL at Nippon Budokan. Kuroyume resumed activity the following year and presented XXXX THE FAKE STAR at Yoyogi National Gymnasium in 2011.
