Artist
La Castañeda is a Mexican rock band formed in Mexico City in 1989 and led by vocalist Salvador Moreno. Its Spanish-language rock draws on hard rock, funk and ska, while songs including “Noches de tu piel” and “Cenit” and albums such as Servicios Generales and El Globo Negro established its catalogue. The band marked its 25th anniversary with a concert at Palacio de los Deportes. Five years later, it celebrated three decades of live work at Teatro Metropólitan.
