Artist
La Fanfarria del Capitán is an Argentine band formed in Buenos Aires in 2004, originally under the name Capitán Tifus. It plays Latin rock informed by cumbia, ska, tango and Balkan brass, and is known for albums including Fanfarria Latina and La Giravida. La Fanfarria del Capitán has toured extensively outside Argentina, taking its full-band performances across Latin America and Europe. Its festival history includes Germany’s Fusion Festival and the Küstendorf Film and Music Festival in Serbia.
