Artist
La Fúmiga is a Spanish band formed in Alzira in 2012. The group draws on the brass and percussion tradition of Valencian street bands, playing Valencian-language pop rock with ska rhythms. Its releases include the albums Espremedors, Fotosíntesi and Tot està per fer, while “Mediterrània” and “Cançons d’amor” are among its best-known songs. La Fúmiga marked its tenth anniversary with a 2022 concert at Plaça de Bous de València, performing as a full ensemble of singers, brass players, percussionists, guitarists and keyboardists. The band has also appeared at recurring music events including Feslloc and Festivern.
