Lacrimosa in Mexico City

Lacrimosa is a German gothic rock and metal project founded in 1990 by singer, composer and pianist Tilo Wolff. Finnish keyboardist and vocalist Anne Nurmi became a permanent member in 1994. The band is known for albums including Stille, Elodia and Fassade, as well as songs such as “Copycat,” “Stolzes Herz” and “Alleine zu zweit.” The 1997 tour for Stille was documented on the double album Live, released the following year. Lacrimosa undertook a 20th-anniversary tour in 2010 and later performed at Wacken Open Air in 2015. Concerts feature a full band built around Wolff’s lead vocals and piano and Nurmi’s keyboards and vocals. Lacrimosa has taken this live format well beyond its Central European base, including performances in Mexico City and Santiago.
