Lainey Wilson in Des Moines

Lainey Wilson is an American country singer-songwriter born in 1992 in Baskin, Louisiana. Her best-known work includes the album Bell Bottom Country and the songs “Things a Man Oughta Know,” “Heart Like a Truck,” “Watermelon Moonshine” and “Wildflowers and Wild Horses.” In 2021, she opened selected dates on Jason Aldean’s Back in the Saddle Tour, followed by shows with Luke Combs on the Middle of Somewhere Tour in 2022. She headlined the Country with a Flare Tour in 2023 and took the Country’s Cool Again Tour through amphitheatres and arenas in 2024. Her performances outside the United States have included C2C: Country to Country in London and Glastonbury Festival in Somerset.
