Lano & Woodley in Hobart

Lano & Woodley are an Australian comedy duo comprising Colin Lane and Frank Woodley. Their mix of physical comedy, songs and absurd arguments became known through stage shows and the television series The Adventures of Lano & Woodley; they also won the Perrier Comedy Award at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 1994. In 2006, the duo toured the farewell production Goodbye before separating. They reunited in 2018 for FLY, presenting the show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and taking it on an Australian tour. Their stage format centres on two mismatched comic characters whose plans repeatedly collapse into verbal disputes and slapstick. Its recurring conflict pits the controlling Colin Lane against the accident-prone Frank Woodley.
