Liv Warfield is an American singer-songwriter from Peoria, Illinois, whose music draws on soul, R&B and rock. She is known for her work as a vocalist in Prince’s New Power Generation and for the solo albums Embrace Me and The Unexpected, the latter executive-produced by Prince and featuring “Why Do You Lie?” In 2009, Liv Warfield joined the New Power Generation as a backing vocalist and toured internationally as part of Prince’s band. She later performed material from The Unexpected with her own band on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. In 2017, she toured as the lead singer of Roadcase Royale, opening for Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band.
