Artist
Lo Ta-yu is a Taiwanese singer-songwriter and producer, born in Taipei in 1954, whose work draws on folk, rock and Mandopop. His 1982 debut album Zhī Hū Zhě Yě introduced songs including “Love Song 1980” and “The Orphan of Asia,” while “Childhood” became another of his best-known compositions. In 2009, he joined the supergroup Superband for a world tour that opened at Taipei Arena. The run ended with farewell concerts in 2010 by Lo Ta-yu, Jonathan Lee, Emil Chau and Chang Chen-yue.
