Lonestar in Roanoke Rapids

Lonestar is an American country band formed in Nashville in 1992 by musicians with Texas roots. The group became known for country-pop songs including “Amazed,” “No News,” “Come Cryin’ to Me” and “I’m Already There,” while the album Lonely Grill produced several of its best-known recordings. During the 1990s, Lonestar progressed beyond Nashville club dates into national touring as its singles reached country radio. The band has since performed its catalog in theatres, casinos, fairs and country festivals, and has made repeat appearances at the Grand Ole Opry.
