Loquillo in Jerez de la Frontera

Loquillo is a Spanish rock singer, born José María Sanz Beltrán in Barcelona in 1960. He first recorded with Los Intocables and became widely known as the frontman of Loquillo y Los Trogloditas, whose rock-and-roll catalogue includes “El ritmo del garaje,” “Cadillac solitario” and “Rock and Roll Star.” His later solo albums include Balmoral and La nave de los locos. The 1989 live album ¡A por ellos...! que son pocos y cobardes documented Loquillo y Los Trogloditas at the Zeleste venue. Decades later, he took the Salud y Rock & Roll tour to the Las Ventas bullring in 2016, a concert documented on Salud y Rock & Roll: Las Ventas 2016.
