Luis Salinas is an Argentine guitarist and composer, born in 1957 in Monte Grande. A self-taught musician, he plays jazz, tango, candombe and Argentine folk music, often moving between acoustic and electric guitar. His best-known recordings include Salinas and Rosario. Luis Salinas performed with B.B. King during the blues musician’s concerts in Buenos Aires. His international concert history also includes the Montreux Jazz Festival, while his appearances in Argentina have included a concert at Teatro Colón.
