Lyle Workman in Studio City

Lyle Workman is an American guitarist, composer and producer, born in San Jose in 1957. He played guitar in the Sacramento band Bourgeois Tagg, whose album Yoyo included “I Don’t Mind at All,” and his film scores include The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Superbad and Forgetting Sarah Marshall. His solo records center on instrumental rock, funk and fusion. Workman toured as a guitarist in Todd Rundgren’s band after contributing to Nearly Human and 2nd Wind. He later recorded Teenager of the Year and toured as a guitarist with Frank Black.
