Macka B in London

Macka B is a British reggae vocalist and deejay, born Christopher MacFarlane in Wolverhampton. His music draws on roots reggae, dub and dancehall, often addressing health, Rastafari and social issues. He began recording with producer Mad Professor and is known for works including “Sign of the Times,” “Health Is Wealth,” “Never Played a 45” and “Medical Marijuana Card.” Since the 1980s, Macka B has toured internationally with the Roots Ragga Band, presenting his catalogue through a live reggae ensemble. He has also performed at Rototom Sunsplash in Spain and Reggae Geel in Belgium.
