Magic City Hippies is an American indie-funk band formed in Miami, with roots in the earlier Robby Hunter Band. The group plays funk-driven indie pop and is known for songs including “Fanfare” and “Hush,” as well as the albums Modern Animal and Water Your Garden. Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza are among the festivals where the group has performed. The band later headlined clubs and theatres behind Modern Animal, followed by the Water Your Garden Tour.
