Mannie Fresh in Baton Rouge

Mannie Fresh is an American producer, DJ and rapper born in New Orleans in 1969. He became known as Cash Money Records’ in-house producer, creating records for Juvenile, Lil Wayne, B.G. and the Hot Boys. He also formed Big Tymers with Birdman, recording tracks including “Get Your Roll On” and “Still Fly,” and released the solo single “Real Big.” Big Tymers performed on the Ruff Ryders/Cash Money Tour in 2000, bringing Mannie Fresh’s work beyond the studio as part of the label’s touring roster. In 2023, he performed with Juvenile at the rapper’s NPR Tiny Desk Concert, arranging Cash Money songs for a full band.
