Maoli in Lynden

Maoli is an American reggae band formed on Maui in 2007 and led by singer Glenn Awong. Its music places island reggae melodies around pop and country songwriting; the group is known for songs including “No One,” “Every Night Every Morning” and its version of “In Case You Didn’t Know,” as well as the albums The Breakthrough, Sense of Purpose and The Last Sip of Summer. The Last Sip of Summer Tour took the band’s full live show on the road in support of the album. Maoli later mounted the Boots on the Ground Tour, carrying its country-reggae repertoire into theatres and outdoor venues across the United States under the Boots on the Ground name.
