Marco Masini in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana

Marco Masini is an Italian singer-songwriter, born in Florence in 1964, whose music centres on pop-rock ballads and direct, confessional lyrics. He won the newcomers’ section of the Sanremo Music Festival with “Disperato” and later won the festival’s main competition with “L’uomo volante.” His best-known songs also include “T’innamorerai,” “Bella stronza” and “Vaffanculo.” The Malinconoia tour was documented on the 1991 concert album Masini Live, preserving the full-band sound of his early repertoire. Three decades later, he marked the anniversary of his career with the 30th Anniversary concert at Arena di Verona.
