María León in Nuevo Vallarta

María León is a Mexican pop singer, songwriter, dancer and actress who first became known as the lead vocalist of Playa Limbo. Her recordings with the group include “El eco de tu voz” and “10 para las 10”; as a solo artist, she has released the albums Inquebrantable and Alquimia. María León starred opposite Yahir in the Mexican production of Hoy No Me Puedo Levantar, playing María in the musical built around songs by Mecano. Her solo concert work has included a presentation of Inquebrantable at Teatro Metropólitan in Mexico City, while another major stage role cast her as Roxie Hart in Chicago.
