Markus Schulz in Tempe

Markus Schulz is a German-American DJ and producer, born in Eschwege in 1975, who plays trance and progressive electronic music. He is known for the radio show Global DJ Broadcast, his Coldharbour Recordings label, albums including Without You Near and Do You Dream?, and tracks such as “Destiny.” In 2008, “The New World” served as an anthem for Transmission in Prague, beginning an association that included repeated performances at the festival. The Scream tour later carried his album of the same name through North American venues, and in 2014 he presented an extended solo set at Madison Square Garden in New York. His open-to-close shows are all-night solo DJ performances. He has presented that format at Avalon Hollywood in Los Angeles and Stereo in Montreal.
