Marshall Jefferson in The City of Brighton and Hove

Marshall Jefferson is an American DJ and producer from Chicago whose early records helped establish the city’s house sound. He is best known for “Move Your Body (The House Music Anthem),” while his studio work also includes Sleezy D’s acid-house track “I’ve Lost Control,” Jungle Wonz’s “The Jungle” and production for Ten City’s album Foundation. Marshall Jefferson played The Haçienda in Manchester during his early visits to Britain. He later performed DJ sets at Ministry of Sound in London and appeared at Glastonbury Festival.
