American singer-songwriter Mary Fahl, born in 1958, is the former lead vocalist of the folk-pop band October Project. Her deep contralto is heard on the band’s albums October Project and Falling Farther In, including the song “Return to Me.” Her solo work includes The Other Side of Time and From the Dark Side of the Moon, a complete reinterpretation of Pink Floyd’s album. Mary Fahl first toured as the lead singer of October Project before building a solo concert repertoire around songs from both phases of her career. A later performance at the Mauch Chunk Opera House in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, was filmed and released as Live at the Mauch Chunk Opera House.
