Mat Kearney in Chicago

Mat Kearney is an American singer-songwriter raised in Eugene, Oregon, who plays acoustic pop-rock shaped by hip-hop-influenced phrasing. He became known through the album Nothing Left to Lose and its title song; later releases brought songs including “Closer to Love,” “Hey Mama” and “Ships in the Night.” The Just Kids Tour took Mat Kearney through North American theatres in 2015, followed by the Crazytalk Tour in 2018. He has continued to perform both with a band and in acoustic settings, including the City of Black & White Revisited Tour. He has also headlined the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
