Mateus Asato is a Brazilian guitarist and composer, born in Campo Grande in 1993. He is known for melodic electric-guitar instrumentals shaped by soul, R&B and gospel, as well as concise performance videos and pieces such as “The Cure.” Mateus Asato developed his stage history as a touring guitarist for Tori Kelly and later Jessie J. He subsequently played in Silk Sonic’s Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live, performing in the band behind Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak.
