Lori McKenna in Ketchum

Lori McKenna is an American singer-songwriter from Stoughton, Massachusetts, whose work sits between country and folk. Her own catalog includes the albums Bittertown, The Bird & the Rifle and The Tree, while other artists have recorded songs she wrote or co-wrote, notably Tim McGraw’s “Humble and Kind” and Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush.” Club Passim in Cambridge was an important room in McKenna’s early career, and she has returned there for intimate performances. In 2006, she opened dates on Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s Soul2Soul II Tour after Hill recorded several of her songs for Fireflies. She later performed her own catalog at the Newport Folk Festival and the Grand Ole Opry.
