Matt Maltese in Woolloongabba

Matt Maltese is a British-Canadian singer-songwriter, born in Reading in 1995, who writes piano-led indie pop and chamber pop. He is best known for “As the World Caves In,” which found a new audience years after its release, and for albums including Bad Contestant, Krystal and Good Morning It’s Now Tomorrow. The Maccabees invited him onto their 2017 farewell tour, including a performance at Alexandra Palace in London. He later mounted headline tours behind his own records and performed songs from across his catalogue with a band for NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert.
