Matute in San Luis Potosí City

Matute is a Mexican pop-rock band formed in 2007 by Jorge D’Alessio. The group is known for full-band interpretations of Spanish- and English-language hits from the 1980s, including songs such as “Ni tú ni nadie,” “Persiana americana” and “Devuélveme a mi chica.” Its recorded catalogue includes the collaborative album “Poderes de los Duetos Fantásticos ¡Actívense!” Matute toured Mexico with the BoomBox Tour and followed it with the Planeta Retro Tour. The Quinceañera World Tour marked the band’s 15th anniversary, while the subsequent Party Monster Tour retained its multi-singer, full-band concert format. Matute has played Mexico City’s Auditorio Nacional and mounted arena concerts at Arena Ciudad de México. The band has also brought its headline show to Arena Monterrey.
