Max Amini in Adelaide

Max Amini is an Iranian-American stand-up comedian, actor and director born in Tucson, Arizona. He is known for observational comedy about family, cultural misunderstandings and Iranian diaspora life, supported by character impressions; his filmed stand-up includes Authentically Absurd. In 2002, he began performing stand-up at the LA Improv and later appeared at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood. He subsequently took his solo shows to international theatres, including Dubai Opera and London’s Eventim Apollo.
