Max Bemis is an American singer-songwriter, born in New York City in 1984, and the lead vocalist and principal songwriter of Say Anything. He is closely associated with the album ...Is a Real Boy and songs including “Alive with the Glory of Love” and “Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too”; he has also recorded with Sherri DuPree-Bemis as Perma. In 2014, Bemis fronted Say Anything on a joint anniversary tour with Saves the Day, performing ...Is a Real Boy in full while Saves the Day played Through Being Cool. His concerts under his own name have included solo acoustic sets drawing on his personal catalog and songs by Say Anything.
