McKinley James in Los Angeles

McKinley James is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist raised near Rochester, New York, who developed his music in Nashville. He plays electric blues, soul and roots rock shaped by early rock and roll; his debut album, Working Class Blues, includes “Movin’” and “Call Me Lonesome.” McKinley James has toured the United States and Europe with a two-person lineup. He handles guitar and vocals while his father, Jason Smay, plays drums.
