Michael Ball in Liverpool

Michael Ball is an English singer and actor, born in 1962, whose recording career covers musical-theatre repertoire and traditional pop. He originated the role of Marius in the London production of Les Misérables and played Alex in the original London cast of Aspects of Love, where he introduced “Love Changes Everything.” His other major stage roles include Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera and Edna Turnblad in Hairspray, while his recordings with Alfie Boe include Together and Together Again. His 1999 concert at the Royal Albert Hall was filmed and released, documenting a set drawn from theatre songs and pop standards. After the 2016 album Together, Michael Ball and Alfie Boe took the project into UK arenas, then returned for tours tied to Together Again and Back Together. Their joint live work later moved into outdoor venues on the Together This Summer tour.
