Michal David in Vigantice

Michal David is a Czech singer, songwriter and keyboardist, born in 1960 and known for disco-driven pop. In the 1980s he performed with Kroky Františka Janečka and recorded songs including “Nonstop,” “Céčka, sbírá céčka,” “Discopříběh” and “Pár přátel.” He also composed the stage musicals Kleopatra and Tři mušketýři. In 2010, he marked his 50th birthday with a concert at Prague’s O2 arena and later returned to the hall for further anniversary performances. In 2018, he celebrated four decades of his pop career through the Mejdan roku concert at Eden Arena.
