Artist
Mike Phillips is an American saxophonist from Mount Vernon, New York, whose music draws on contemporary jazz, R&B, soul and funk. He established his recording career with the albums You Have Reached Mike Phillips and Uncommon Denominator. Mike Phillips played in Jill Scott’s band, and his saxophone was documented on the live album Experience: Jill Scott 826+. He later joined Prince’s band for the 2004 arena tour Musicology Live 2004ever.
