Mike Zito is an American blues-rock guitarist, singer and songwriter, born in St. Louis in 1970. His solo catalogue includes Pearl River, Greyhound, Gone to Texas and Make Blues Not War; he also co-founded the band Royal Southern Brotherhood. After Royal Southern Brotherhood released its debut album in 2012, Mike Zito toured with the group before returning his focus to his solo band. He later joined Bernard Allison and Vanja Sky for the Blues Caravan 2018 tour, documented on a live album of the same name. His Blood Brothers project with Albert Castiglia also moved onto the road and produced Blood Brothers Live in Canada.
