Artist
The Cash Box Kings are an American blues band formed in Madison, Wisconsin, in 2001 by harmonica player and singer Joe Nosek and vocalist Oscar Wilson. Their music draws on electric Chicago blues, boogie and soul, heard on albums including Black Toppin’, Royal Mint, Hail to the Kings! and Oscar’s Motel. The Cash Box Kings have performed at the Chicago Blues Festival and New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, while their overseas dates have included Moulin Blues in the Netherlands. They appear as a full electric blues band centered on Nosek’s harmonica and vocals and Wilson’s singing.
