Artist
Monetochka is a Russian singer-songwriter, born Elizaveta Gyrdymova in Yekaterinburg in 1998. She first attracted attention in 2016 by posting homemade, piano-led songs online, then expanded her sound into indie pop and electropop. Her best-known work includes the album Coloring for Adults and the songs “Every Time,” “90” and “Nymphomaniac.” In 2018, Monetochka presented Coloring for Adults at concerts across Russia, including a solo show at Adrenaline Stadium in Moscow. In 2022 she joined the European benefit tour Voices of Peace, which raised money for Ukrainian refugees and paired her onstage with Noize MC.
