Artist
Mongol800 is a Japanese punk-rock band formed in Okinawa in 1998. Its melodic punk and ska-inflected sound became widely known through the album Message and songs including “Chiisana Koi no Uta” and “Anata ni.” Mongol800 has performed at Fuji Rock Festival as part of a live history built largely through tours around Japan. In 2009, the group founded MONGOL800 ga FESTIVAL What a Wonderful World!! and returned as both host and performer at later editions of the event.
