Monster Truck is a Canadian hard-rock band formed in Hamilton, Ontario, in 2009. Its riff-heavy sound draws on blues and Southern rock; the albums Furiosity and Sittin’ Heavy produced signature songs including “Sweet Mountain River,” “The Lion” and “Don’t Tell Me How to Live.” Monster Truck toured Europe as support for Deep Purple and later opened for Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. The band then joined Nickelback’s Feed the Machine Tour for North American arena dates.
