Monte Montgomery in Fredericksburg

Monte Montgomery is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter, born in Birmingham, raised in San Antonio and closely associated with the Austin music scene. He plays acoustic rock and blues, building his sound around an amplified acoustic guitar, percussive picking and effects. His catalog includes the albums 1st and Repair, Mirror and Wishing Well. His 1999 performance on Austin City Limits introduced his live playing to a wider audience. He later documented his concert work on Live at the Caravan of Dreams, recorded at the Fort Worth venue, and in a filmed performance at WorkPlay Theatre in Birmingham.
