Moonchild in Berkeley

Moonchild is an American soul and jazz group formed in Los Angeles in 2011 by Amber Navran, Andris Mattson and Max Bryk. The group plays neo-soul and contemporary R&B shaped by jazz harmony, and is known for the song “The List” and albums including Voyager, Little Ghost and Starfruit. Moonchild performed an NPR Tiny Desk Concert, where the musicians moved among vocals, keyboards, saxophones, flute, trumpet and guitar. The group later toured material from Little Ghost and Starfruit through North America and Europe. Its festival appearances have included Love Supreme Jazz Festival and North Sea Jazz Festival.
