Mother Mother in Chicago

Mother Mother are a Canadian indie-rock band formed in Vancouver in 2005 by singer and songwriter Ryan Guldemond. Their music uses tight vocal harmonies, angular guitars and folk-pop melodies, heard on albums including O My Heart, Eureka and Inside. “Hayloft,” “Burning Pile,” “Verbatim” and “Arms Tonite” became signature songs, finding a new online audience years after their original release. The Inside Tour took the band through North America and Europe in 2022. In 2024, the Grief Chapter Tour was followed by a North American co-headlining run with Cavetown that included Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, and the band's subsequent Canadian dates reached Rogers Arena in Vancouver. Mother Mother performs as a full rock band, and the vocal arrangements are central to the set: Ryan Guldemond shares lead and harmony parts with Molly Guldemond and Jasmin Parkin.
