Nacho Vegas in Bilbao

Nacho Vegas is a Spanish singer-songwriter, born in Gijón in 1974, whose music draws on indie rock and folk. He played in Manta Ray before beginning a solo career with Actos inexplicables; later records include La zona sucia, Violética and Mundos inmóviles derrumbándose. He has also recorded the joint albums El tiempo de las cerezas with Enrique Bunbury and Verano fatal with Christina Rosenvinge. In 2006, he performed with Enrique Bunbury in concerts supporting El tiempo de las cerezas. He followed that collaboration by presenting Verano fatal onstage with Christina Rosenvinge, then toured his own records through theatres, clubs and festivals. Nacho Vegas has repeatedly performed in Madrid and Barcelona, and his concert history beyond Spain includes Mexico City.
