About Nap Eyes
Nap Eyes are a Canadian indie rock band formed in Halifax, Nova Scotia, in 2011. Led by singer and guitarist Nigel Chapman, the group is known for his conversational lyrics and the wiry guitar music of albums including Whine of the Mystic, Thought Rock Fish Scale and I'm Bad Now.
After releasing Thought Rock Fish Scale, Nap Eyes toured North America supporting Destroyer. The band later brought songs from I'm Bad Now to NPR's Tiny Desk, performing as a four-piece built around Chapman's voice and guitar.
